David Osborn, Ph.D., is the General Manager of the Nashville Medical Trade Center. Scheduled to open in 2014, the Nashville Medical Trade Center will be the world’s first comprehensive trade center for commerce, marketing and education for the healthcare industry. Previously David served as the Founding Executive Director of The HealthCare Solutions Group, a Nashville “think and act “tank created as a partnership between Vanderbilt Medical Center and the Nashville Health Care Council to improve the healthcare system in the United States.

David holds a Ph.D. in Management from the University of Tennessee. He serves as Vice Chair of the Board for the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Middle Tennessee, is on the Advisory Board of Mercy Children’s Clinic in Franklin, Tennessee, and serves on the Advisory Board for the American Heart Association.
